Junghwabokchun Gold

My friend and I were desperately looking for jajangmeon and tangsuyeok before our departure from Seoul. We found this place from Naver and decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately they don’t serve tangsuyeok here. But their jajangmeon is really good! I’m very surprised by how fresh the seafood they used for the noodles. The portion is also quite large. We also ordered a duck cold dish based on staff recommendation. It is their signature and took 3 days to prepare. Also yummy! Food here is overall delicious. I know the price maybe a bit aggressive compared to other Korean Chinese food restaurants, but trust me, this is worthwhile.

This is the most popular restaurant in 연남동. The main dish is worth the high price. This is really bland and almost tasteless so this needs a little seasoning. The food here tastes good

홍대에 이런 중식요리 맛집이 있었다니..! 분위기도 정말 좋고, 룸도 준비되어 있어서 가족들이랑 방문하기도 좋네요. 요리는 다 맛있었어요. 다음번에는 새로운 것을 도전해봐야겠어요. 인테리어가 멋있어서 사진 많이 찍었네요. ㅎㅎ 직원분들이 친절하셔서 기분 좋게 식사했어요.

확실히 연남공원점 대비 고급 느낌이 드네요. 홍대에만 본점 격인 연남공원점, 동교골드, 살롱 시그니처 세 곳을 운영하는 중화복춘인데 골드를 처음 와봐서 그런지 차이가 더 확 느껴집니다. 늘 중화복춘 올 때마다 느껴지는 '좋은 재료로 정성껏 조리하는 훌륭한 요리'가 골드에서는 좀 더 업된 느낌이라 좋았는데, 예를 들어 우럭 조리하기 전에 먼저 재료의 상태를 보여주고 설명하는 게 진짜 서비스를 받고 있다는 기분이 들어 더욱 기대하게 만들어줍니다. 단점이라면... 양이 좀 과한 느낌이네요. 약간 모자란 듯 먹어야 음식 하나하나를 좀 더 집중하며 먹게 되는데 (매우 주관적인 기준입니다만^^) 양이 많으니 그런 집중도가 살짝 떨어집니다. 그리고 테이블과 의자 상태가 낡았다는 느낌이 드네요. 특히 원탁을 둘러싼 쇼파 의자는 리모델링 또는 새걸로 교체하면 골드라는 이름에 어울리는 격이 올라갈 것 같습니다. 이름값에 걸맞는 훌륭한 중식 전문점이고 추천할만한 곳입니다.
